tritec^® Laminar Flow, BIOLAF

The BIOLAF guarantees the operator/product/ environment protection during the manipulation of pathogen material, with low or high risk, included in the CDC 2/3 class, DHSS B2/b1 and oncogene virus as indicated from the National Cancer InsStute (USA). High security by two  air turbines (<60dB). The air coming from the HEPA filter within the working area is in 100 class and has got a laminar movement towards the plane from which is sucked up and re-circulated from the main motor fan  which maintains the recovery canal, positioned on the 3 sides, in negative pressure. The second motor fan expels a quantity of air that is 30 % of the total through the HEPA filter. The expelled air is compensated by the air called back by the front hole which allows an isolation barrier for operator protection.

• HEPA filter with efficiency superior than 99.999% on 0,3 micron particies DOP test.
• High standard configuration, i.e. electrical board IP 55, fluorescent lamp outside the contaminated area, gas stopping electro-valve, key switch for motor fan. A push button for total exhaust and two independent light displays to indicate progressive obstruction of the filters.
• visual and acoustic alarm to indicate insufficient protection of the operator and the product.
